Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the MeeAayu website, waitlist, conversational interfaces, and related digital services made available by MeeAayu. By accessing or using any part of the service, including joining the waitlist, submitting information, or using any optional verification flow, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms.
If a user does not agree to these Terms, the user should not access or use the service. If a user is accepting these Terms on behalf of a hospital, clinic, company, or other organization, that user represents that they have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Use of the service is permitted only by persons who are legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. A user must be at least 18 years old to independently join the waitlist or use the service. If a user is below 18 years of age, use is permitted only with valid consent from a parent or legal guardian.
The user agrees to provide accurate, current, and complete information while interacting with MeeAayu, including when submitting contact information, account details, or optional ABHA-related information. MeeAayu may suspend, restrict, or reject access where information appears inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized.
2. Nature of the Service
MeeAayu is currently in a pre-launch or limited-availability stage and may provide a waitlist, informational pages, conversational interfaces, onboarding forms, limited pilot features, and other early-access experiences. Joining the waitlist expresses interest in future participation and does not create any guaranteed right to onboarding, access, availability, pilot admission, or future commercial service.
MeeAayu is a digital health information and engagement platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement with a hospital or healthcare provider, MeeAayu is not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic center, laboratory, pharmacy, insurer, or licensed medical practitioner, and does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency services, or clinical decision-making.
Any summaries, reports, reminders, wellness insights, record organization features, conversational outputs, or AI-assisted outputs made available through the service are for informational and support purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Users should seek appropriate care from a qualified medical professional for any medical concern.
3. Waitlist Terms
Submission to the MeeAayu waitlist indicates interest in future product access, pilot participation, updates, or related communications. Waitlist enrollment does not guarantee selection, priority access, product launch timing, invitation to any pilot, or availability of any particular feature.
MeeAayu may use waitlist information to contact users regarding product updates, launch notices, onboarding interest, eligibility checks, pilot invitations, and related communications consistent with the purposes disclosed at the time of collection and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
MeeAayu may modify, pause, delay, or discontinue the waitlist, the launch plan, the MVP roadmap, or any pre-launch feature at any time, without liability, subject to applicable law.
4. Accounts, Credentials, and Security
Where the service requires an account, login, OTP verification, or similar credential, the user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for all activity occurring through the account, except to the extent caused by MeeAayu’s own failure to implement reasonable safeguards required by law.
A user must not share access credentials, impersonate another person, bypass authentication measures, or attempt unauthorized access to any account, dataset, system, API, or feature. MeeAayu may suspend or terminate access where misuse, fraud, abuse, security risk, or unlawful activity is suspected.
5. ABHA, ABDM, and Optional Verification Features
MeeAayu may offer optional ABHA, ABHA address, or ABDM-related verification, linking, consent, or interoperability features where technically enabled and legally permitted. Such features are voluntary and are not a condition for merely expressing interest in MeeAayu, unless a specific program, pilot, or hospital workflow expressly requires them.
Where a user elects to use ABDM- or ABHA-related functionality, MeeAayu may interact with ABDM sandbox or production services, partner systems, consent systems, or hospital systems as permitted under the applicable ABDM framework and integration scope.
ABHA creation, ABHA linking, and ABDM-based health record exchange are voluntary under the ABDM framework, and the absence of ABHA participation does not by itself prevent a hospital from storing treatment records in its own systems.
A user may withdraw consent for future ABDM-enabled sharing in accordance with applicable law and platform functionality. Withdrawal of consent does not automatically require deletion of data that must be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, or other permitted purposes under applicable law.
6. Health Records and Hospital-Linked Services
Where MeeAayu is used in connection with a hospital, doctor, clinic, lab, or other healthcare provider, medical records and health information may be generated, stored, displayed, organized, transmitted, or shared through the service, subject to applicable contracts, permissions, consent settings, and law.
In hospital-linked use cases, the relevant healthcare provider may remain the primary custodian or source of certain records, unless a separate agreement provides otherwise. MeeAayu may act as a technology platform, data processor, software provider, or interoperable access layer, depending on the specific deployment model and contractual arrangement.
If a patient does not opt into ABHA or ABDM linking, hospital-side records may still be stored and used within the hospital’s own native workflows, portals, and systems, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.
7. Consent, Privacy, and Data Protection
MeeAayu processes personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any applicable health-sector policies, standards, or contractual obligations relevant to the service.
By using the service or submitting information, the user acknowledges that personal data may be collected and processed for disclosed purposes such as waitlist management, identity verification, communication, platform security, feature delivery, pilot operations, interoperability, hospital-linked services, and legal compliance, in each case subject to applicable law.
Where consent is the basis for processing, consent may be sought through checkboxes, notices, OTP-based flows, consent dashboards, or other affirmative mechanisms. Users may withdraw consent for future processing where applicable, subject to lawful retention and other legally permitted grounds.
MeeAayu may provide or support mechanisms for access, correction, grievance submission, consent withdrawal, or other user requests to the extent required by applicable law or contract.
8. Security Measures
MeeAayu uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Such safeguards may include role-based access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, environment segregation, access monitoring, and vendor controls, though no system can be guaranteed fully secure.
The user acknowledges that internet-based services inherently involve security risks. To the extent permitted by law, MeeAayu does not warrant that the service will always be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from cyber threats, although reasonable safeguards will be maintained in line with applicable obligations.
9. AI-Assisted and Automated Features
MeeAayu may use AI-assisted, machine learning, rule-based, or automated tools to organize, classify, summarize, extract, present, or support interpretation of health-related information, subject to applicable law and product design. Such outputs are intended to assist users and are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, or clinically appropriate in every case.
AI-assisted outputs must not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations unless explicitly delivered as part of a separately governed clinical service with appropriate legal, regulatory, and professional oversight.
MeeAayu may restrict, suspend, or disable AI features for legal, safety, privacy, technical, or product reasons at any time.
10. Data Residency, Infrastructure, and Service Providers
MeeAayu may use cloud infrastructure, subprocessors, vendors, communication tools, analytics providers, hosting providers, and other service providers to operate the service, subject to reasonable contractual and security controls and applicable law.
For hospital and health-record deployments, MeeAayu may offer India-based storage and processing configurations. Where cross-border access, transfer, support, or processing is used, it will be subject to legal review, contractual safeguards, access limitations, and security controls as applicable.
11. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct
The user agrees not to:
- use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purpose;
- upload or transmit malicious code, harmful content, or material that interferes with the service;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, APIs, records, or data;
- scrape, copy, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or misuse the service except as permitted by law;
- impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation with any hospital, clinician, or organization; or
- use the service in a manner that violates patient privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, or applicable law.
MeeAayu may investigate violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access, remove content, or take any other appropriate action where misuse is suspected.
12. Third-Party Services and External Systems
The service may integrate with or reference third-party systems, including hospital information systems, diagnostic labs, messaging providers, ABDM systems, payment providers, analytics providers, or identity/verification services. MeeAayu is not responsible for the availability, security, content, performance, or policies of third-party systems, except to the extent required by applicable law or contract.
Where a user chooses to connect to or use a third-party integration, that use may also be governed by the third party’s own terms, privacy notice, consent framework, or operational rules.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the MeeAayu service, including its software, interfaces, workflows, content, branding, logos, designs, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to MeeAayu, except for third-party content and user-provided materials.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to the user. Subject to these Terms, MeeAayu grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose.
14. User Content and Feedback
To the extent a user submits information, text, records, documents, suggestions, comments, bug reports, or feedback, the user represents that they have the necessary rights to provide such material. The user remains responsible for ensuring that submitted material is lawful and does not violate the rights of any person.
Feedback voluntarily provided regarding the service may be used by MeeAayu for product improvement without obligation, restriction, or compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
15. Availability, Changes, and Beta Features
The service may include experimental, pilot, beta, sandbox, limited-release, or pre-launch features. Such features may change, malfunction, be incomplete, produce unexpected outputs, or be withdrawn at any time.
MeeAayu may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service, including waitlist features, integrations, AI features, UI flows, account features, or pilot workflows, at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MeeAayu disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, satisfactory quality, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Without limiting the foregoing, MeeAayu does not warrant that:
- the waitlist will result in product access or onboarding;
- the service will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
- any AI-assisted, conversational, or summarized output will be accurate or complete;
- any hospital, doctor, or external partner will continue to participate in the service; or
- any future feature, roadmap item, pilot, or launch milestone will occur.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeeAayu and its founders, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the service, these Terms, waitlist participation, beta features, AI outputs, or third-party systems, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeeAayu’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by the user directly to MeeAayu for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. If no amount has been paid, MeeAayu’s aggregate liability shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
18. Suspension and Termination
MeeAayu may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service at any time where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, technical integrity, product discontinuation, contractual reasons, or violation of these Terms.
A user must stop using the service at any time. Termination or discontinuation does not automatically require immediate deletion of all data where retention is necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, backup integrity, contractual obligations, or other legally permitted purposes.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
